This piece features two ears at the top, and short legs and a tail at the bottom.
The Ichijōgiri is a bamboo vessel with three or more nodes, with a single horizontal window carved out of one section.
Thicker vessels are used for okibana (placed flower arrangements), while thinner ones are used as kakehanaire (hanging flower containers). Both are treated as vases for So style.
