A Popular Bamboo Vase with a Sense of Stability
The Tachizuru is a refined bamboo vase, carved from the lower half of a Zundo vase. The area around the central node is hollowed out to resemble the two legs of a standing crane, giving it a graceful and elegant appearance.
It is considered a vase for shin style.
Perfect for isshu-ike (single flower arrangement) of camellias, daffodils, irises, and more. It also pairs beautifully with light nishu-ike (two flower arrangement), such as adding fukujusō (Adonis) and miyakowasure (Gymnaster).
